During my attendance at an AFWPI Southbay mixer in November, I became inspired to bring this fantastic opportunity to the Inland Empire. My partner in crime, Leslie @ Veils and Fairytales couldn't agree any different! So there we were brainstorming on the carpool drive back home. How in the world do we start such a project? We spoke to Victoria and Barbara Davis who are Directors of the Southbay chapter and they provided us with fantastic advice that allowed us to proceed with our plans. It took us a full month to gather all the required information and we sent out literally hundreds of emails looking for interested wedding professionals that would support the creation of this chapter. To our surprise, we had a huge interest!! We finally contacted AFWPI and after countless emails, the chapter was established! We are hosting our first mixer on Feb 18, 2010 at the FABULOUS Eagle Glen Golf Club in Corona, Ca. Please see invitation below!
